The Money in Domaining is in the Development?
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008The word “potential” is very near and dear to my heart. It suggests a positive difference that can be bridged. It inspires hope.
The internet is the embodiment of potential. And The World Wide Web is a classic manifestation of The American Dream. When you consider that an ordinary person can buy a domain name for less than the cost of a meal with the potential for several forms of freedom as a result of that purchase, you realize just how powerful that potential is.
Crossing the potential gap, though, requires some input of energy. And I am always still surprised and now more than a little miffed at folks who think that a Domainer / Developer has it “easy” and does not “work.”
