Children of the Promise bring babies to the US for medical care

Three babies who needed medical care were flown from Haiti into Fort Lauderdale International Airport Saturday night. Children of the Promise, an charity based in Prinsburg, Minnesota operates an infant care facility in Cap Haitien, Haiti.

Taking these children from Haiti was medically necessary. One needed cranial surgery. Another, with a colostomy bag, also has kidney problems. Without medical care, these babies may not have lived.

But there are other children being taken from Haiti without proper documentation.

l was among a group of ladies from Ontario Canada who were at the orphanage from January 24 to January 31/10. The Children of The Promise is an experience that we believe will open the eyes and hearts to a desire to care for all children who need to be loved. We brought eleven bags of supplies and a considerable amount of money raised by our churches and our families and our friends.
Thankyou to Jamie and Jen Groen for being our guides when we were serving there. Their patience and kindness toward us will long be remembered
