President Obama announced creation of a new federal cyber czar on Friday. “Cyberspace is real, and so is the risk that comes with it,” he said.[1]
We all know how Hank Asher feels about hackers. When ChoicePoint and LexisNexis became victims of theft, Hank Asher had this to say:
“I am sure that what these idiots thought was an angle will turn out to be their worst nightmare. LexisNexis and ChoicePoint will find every person involved in this scheme and prove what they did. They are dead hackers typing.”
As reported in The Palm Beach Post yesterday, “Asher, the legendary Palm Beach County cyber-sleuth, who has tracked terrorists, common criminals and child porn producers online, believes the U.S. must take aggressive action against potential cyber enemies.”[2]
Hmm…
I wonder if LexisNexis thought of a “No Federal Appointments” clause when they signed Asher to a 5 year Non-Compete Agreement almost five years ago…
