As reported in The Palm Beach Post August 30, 2009, Hank Asher’s Boca-based data company TLO ready to hire and again September 7, 2009 TLO, the new venture by data guru Hank Asher, is up and running at last:
A hiring boom is about to take place in Boca Raton, where TLO, a data company created by database guru Hank Asher, is set to start operations on Sept. 1. That’s the day Asher’s non-compete agreement with Reed Elsevier ends. The parent of LexisNexis bought Asher’s former company, Seisint, for $775 million in 2004.
In a telephone interview last week, Asher said he was recruiting employees from all over the globe. TLO, which leases 143,000 square feet in the Boca Corporate Center, is expected to hire 5,000 employees over time. Those workers could provide a big boost to the housing market.
